Anna University conducts the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) for admission to MBA, MCA, M.E./M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan programme of various Colleges and Universities of Tamil Nadu. 

Eligibility Criteria:

MBA     - Graduate in any discipline under the 10+2+3 pattern. 

MCA     - Bachelors degree with mathematics as a subject in 12th  or Maths/Stat as one of the 

                subjects at the degree level. 

M.E.     - Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology in the relevant stream.

*Candidates who are appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to appear in the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test 2015. 

Fees:  Rs.500/- for General and  250/- for Reserved Candidates

சென்னை: பிளஸ் 2 தேர்வில், தேர்வு அறையில் கண்காணிப்புப் பணியில் ஈடுபடுபவர்களுக்கு நாற்காலி போடத் தடை விதித்துள்ளதற்கு, ஆசிரியர்கள் எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.

ரத்த அழுத்தம், இதயப் பிரச்னை மற்றும் சர்க்கரை நோய் உள்ளவர்கள் மற்றும் மாற்றுத் திறனாளி ஆசிரியர்கள் தேர்வுப் பணியில் ஈடுபட முடியாத நிலை ஏற்பட்டு உள்ளது. தமிழகம் முழுவதும், பிளஸ் 2 பொதுத் தேர்வு வரும் 5ம் தேதி துவங்குகிறது.

மாணவர்களை விழிப்புடன் கண்காணிக்க, தேர்வு அறையில், கண்காணிப்பாளர் களுக்கு நாற்காலி போடக் கூடாது என்று உத்தரவிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. இத்துடன், நிபந்தனைகள் விதிக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளன. இதற்கு ஆசிரியர்கள் எதிர்ப்பையும், அதிருப்தியையும் வெளிப்படுத்தி உள்ளனர்.

மூன்று மணி நேரம் நின்று கொண்டே இருப்பது இயலாத காரியம். சர்க்கரை நோய் பாதித்தோர் சில நிமிடங்களுக்கு மேல் நின்றால் மயங்கி விடுவர். ரத்த அழுத்தம் உள்ளவர்களுக்கு உடல் வியர்த்து அழுத்தம் அதிகமாகும். இதயப் பிரச்னை உள்ளவர்களும் சோர்வாகி விடுவர் என தேர்வுத்துறையிடம் ஆசிரியர்கள் முறையிட்டுள்ளனர்.

இதுகுறித்து, தமிழ்நாடு மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளி தொழிற்கல்வி ஆசிரியர் கழகப் பொதுச்செயலர் வேலூர் திரு.ஜனார்த்தனன் கூறும்போது, "நாற்காலி போடுவதா, வேண்டாமா என்பதை, ஆசிரியர்களின் வயது மற்றும் உடல்நலனைக் கருத்தில் கொண்டு முடிவெடுக்க வேண்டும். இல்லையென்றால் பாதிக்கப்படும் ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு தேர்வுப் பணியிலிருந்து விலக்கு அளிக்கலாம். சம்பந்தப்பட்ட ஆசிரியரின் தேர்வு அறையில் தவறுகள் தெரிந்தால், அவர்கள்மீது நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கலாம்" என்றார்.

தமிழ்நாடு பட்டதாரி ஆசிரியர் முன்னேற்ற கழகத் தலைவர் சிங்காரவேல் கூறும்போது, "உடல்நலப் பாதிப்பு குறித்த ஆசிரியர்களின் பிரச்னைகளை, தேர்வுத் துறைக்கு எடுத்துக் கூறியுள்ளோம். நின்று கொண்டே இருக்க முடியாதோருக்கு தேர்வுப் பணியில் இருந்து விலக்கு வேண்டும்" என்றார்.

இதுகுறித்து, தேர்வுத்துறை இயக்ககத்தில் விசாரித்தபோது, மாவட்ட முதன்மைக் கல்வி அலுவலர்களுக்கு, நாற்காலி தொடர்பாக புதிய உத்தரவு பிறப்பிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. நாற்காலி போட வேண்டாம் என்பதை ஆசிரியர்களின் வயது, உடல்நலன் கருதி முடிவெடுக்க வேண்டும். மாற்றுத்திறனாளி ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு கண்டிப்பாக நாற்காலி தர வேண்டும் என, வாய்மொழி உத்தரவு பிறப்பித்துள்ளதாக அதிகாரிகள் தெரிவித்தனர்.

               மேலும் தேர்வுத்துறை இயக்குனர் அவர்கள் தெரிவிக்கையில் "தேர்வு முடிவுகள்  வெளியானதும்  http://www.tndge.in வலைத்தளத்தில்  தற்காலிக  மதிப்பெண் பட்டியலை(Provisional Mark sheet) டவுன்லோட் செய்து கொள்ளலாம்.  இம்மதிப்பெண் பட்டியலில், மாணவரின் போட்டோ, பதிவு எண், மதிப்பெண்கள், பள்ளியின் பெயர்ஆகிய விவரங்கள் இருக்கும். இந்த மதிப்பெண் பட்டியலை download செய்து அதில் தலைமை ஆசிரியரின் கையொப்பம் பெறவேண்டும். இம்மதிப்பெண் பட்டியல் 90 நாட்களுக்கு மட்டும் செல்லும். போலி மதிப்பெண் பட்டியல்கள் தயாரிப்பதை தவிர்க்க இதில் ரகசிய குறியீடுகள் இருக்கும்." என தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

            Engineering  மற்றும்  Medical விண்ணப்ப படிவங்களை நிரப்பவும், கவுன்சலிங் போன்றவற்றில் கலந்து கொள்ளவும் இந்த தற்காலிக மதிப்பெண் பட்டியல் வழங்கப் படுகிறது. ஒரிஜினல் மதிப்பெண் பட்டியல் தேர்வு முடிவுகள் வெளியான 30 நாட்களில் கிடைக்கும் என எதிர் பார்க்கப் படுகிறது.

வங்கி ஊழியர்கள் வேலை நிறுத்தம் வாபஸ்

Ahead of the Budget, the Indian Banks' Association, which represents lenders, managed to avert a four-day strike starting February 25. Employees of state-run banks will get 15 per cent wage hike and alternate Saturdays off, according to the agreement.

The wage hike will be applicable from November 2012 and will be valid for five years. The bank unions were demanding a 19 per cent hike in wages and a five-day work week.

Unions reached the wage settlement after 18 rounds of negotiations over more than two years, Vishwas Utagi, a senior union official, said. The new salaries, applicable for more than 7 lakh bank workers, will be backdated to November 2012 and valid for five years, he said.

Mr Utagi said the estimated cost for banks as a result of the salary increase will be an annual Rs. 4,725 crore.

 மும்பையில் நேற்று(23.02.2015) இரு தரப்புக்கும் இடையே நடந்த பேச்சில், ஊதிய உடன்பாடு எட்டப்பட்டது. வங்கி ஊழியர்கள் மற்றும் அதிகாரிகளுக்கு, 15 சதவீத ஊதிய உயர்வுக்கு ஒப்பந்தம் ஏற்பட்டு உள்ளது. இதன்மூலம், வங்கிகளுக்கு ஆண்டுக்கு, 4,725 கோடி ரூபாய் கூடுதல் செலவு ஏற்படும். இதுவரை, வங்கிகள் சனிக்கிழமை, அரை நாள் இயங்கி வந்தன.இம்முறையில் மாற்றம் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது.

Simple Voltaic Cell

            The Simplest arrangement for producing an electric current is that known as the voltaic cell, so named after Volta its discoverer.

(First Model of Voltaic Cell)

        This  consist of a vessel containing some very dilute sulfuric acid(H₂SO₄) into which is dipped a plate of zinc(Zn) and one of Copper(Cu). With such an arrangement there is at once setup a potential difference between the two plates, and if they are joined by a wire an electric current will at once flow from the positive zinc to negative copper.

The voltage of an electrochemical cell involves an oxidation reaction and a reduction reaction. In the case of a copper-zinc cell the two half reactions are written as reductions, and their standard cell potentials are:

Cu²⁺_(aq) + 2e- ---> Cu_(s) E° reduction = +0.34 V

Zn²⁺_(aq) + 2e- ---> Zn_(s) E° reduction = -0.76 V

Copper will be the reduced species in the copper-zinc cell due it's larger standard reduction potential. The voltage then for a Zn, Zn²⁺||Cu²⁺, Cu cell in which the copper ion and zinc ion concentrations are equal is found as follows:

Zn_(s) + Cu²⁺_(aq) ---> Cu_(s) + Zn²⁺_(aq)

Cu²⁺_(aq) + 2e- ---> Cu_(s) E° reduction = +0.34 V

Zn_(s) ---> Zn²⁺_(aq) + 2e- E° oxidation = -0.76 V

E_cell = E_reduction - E_oxidation

+1.10V = +0.34 V - (-0.76 V)

The voltage of any electrochemical cell is a function of the molar concentrations of the compounds involved in the cell, as described by the Nernst equation:

Using equation 1 as the balanced chemical equation for the Zn, Zn²⁺||Cu²⁺, Cu cell. Equation 3 becomes:

E_cell = E° - (0.03) log [Zn²⁺]/[Cu²⁺]

As the Cu²⁺ concentration decreases the voltage of the cell changes. The Cu²⁺ concentration can change due to a dilution, or due to the formation of a complex ion, Cu(NH₃)₄²⁺, upon addition of NH₃.

The action of the cell is explained in terms of the motion of the charged ions. At the zinc rod, the zinc atoms get ionized and pass into solution as Zn++ ions. This leaves the zinc rod with two electrons more, making it negative. At the same time, two hydrogen ions (2H+) are discharged at the copper rod, by taking these two electrons. This makes the copper rod positive. As long as excess electrons are available on the zinc electrode, this process goes on and a current flows continuously in external circuit. This simple cell is thus seen as a device which converts chemical energy into electrical energy. Due to opposite charges on the two plates, a potential difference is set up between copper and zinc, copper being at a higher potential than zinc. The difference of potential between the two electrodes is 1.08V.

Legendary film producer Daggubati Ramanaidu (79) passed away in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Father of noted film hero, D. Venkatesh and grandfather of upcoming actor, Rana, Ramanaidu established the well-known film house Suresh Productions, named after his elder son. 

He produced over 150 films in most of the Indian languages with Telugu topping the list. Considered as an icon of film industry, he introduced several film personalities through his Suresh Productions. 

Recipient of Dada Saheb Phalke Award for lifetime achievement in 2009 and also Padma Bhushan in 2012 in recognition of his contribution to Indian cinema, Ramanaidu also holds the record for producing highest number of films in the world.

 RTI மூலம் பெறப்பட்ட தகவல்களை கீழே டவுன்லோட் செய்யவும்

The girl shook her head while smiling: "No"

The guy looked down sadly and then he heard her saying these words:

There was a girl who was playing in the park 

when she saw a picture in the bush. 

She kept the photo, 

but forgot about it until she was married. 

Her husband asked, "who is that little boy"

 in her wallet.

 She Answered. 

"My First Love".

 Then the husband smiled and said:

 " i lost this picture when i was nine years old".

A Girl asked a boy "if she was pretty"

He Said "No"

Then she asked" if he liked her" and

He Said "No"

She asked him "if he wanted to be with her forever".

He Said "No"

She then asked him "if he would cry if she walked away"

He again said "No"

She had heard  too much.

 She needed to leave... As she walked away, 

he grabbed her arm and told her to stay.

He Said,

"You're not pretty, You're Beautiful".

"I Don't like you, i love you".

 "I don't want to be with you forever, i need to be with you forever"

and 

i wouldn't cry if you walked away,

"I would die".
